includes among its members women and men of every age, race, religion,
political party and socio-economic background.

Amendment, BPW/USA has been a leader in promoting legislation affecting
working women. In addition, BPW educates its members on policy issues
and encourages them to become involved in policy development in their
own workplaces, and its grassroots efforts at the local, state and
federal government levels. BPW’s Political Action Committee (BPW/PAC)
provides contributions and endorsements to women and pro-women
candidates who support BPW’s legislative priorities.
In 1956, BPW members established the BPW Foundation to promote equity
for working women nationwide through education, information and
research, while providing financial assistance for women seeking to
further their education to advance their careers or re-enter the
workforce.
BPW/USA is the leading advocate on Work-life balance and workplace
equity issues.
